Increase of the pectoral muscles

Strengthening the pectoral muscles can increase the size of the pectoral muscles in men who have insufficient trunk muscle mass and cannot be trained with resistance exercises.
Strengthening the pectoral muscles can also restore symmetry to the trunk muscles after congenital or trauma-related deformities.

Objective: Increase the volume of the pectoral muscles for a harmonious torso.

Intervention techniques: Several techniques to increase the volume of the pectoral muscles are possible.

– Silicone implant technology:

Intervention techniques: They consist in placing very sticky silicone implants (very resistant and more resistant than the breast implants used in women), of adjustable size, of anatomical shape and located behind the pectoralis major muscle. The surgeon makes an incision in the armpit and then “prepares” the cavity for the implant. The implant is placed under the pectoralis major muscle, but does not separate from the rib cage. The procedure was performed under general anesthesia with a 24-hour hospital stay.

Post-operative follow-up: The torso area may remain sensitive for a week, and intense exercise is not recommended for 3 weeks. Swelling and bruising are often seen in the days following surgery, but they quickly resolve. Exercise is not recommended for one month after surgery.

Results: Complete resorption of the edema was immediately observed with the final appearance.

– Lipid structure technology:

Procedure: The volume of the pectoral muscle is increased by the injection of the patient’s own fat. Excess fat cells in certain areas of the patient’s body will be removed, especially those around the chest. The harvested fat is then cleverly processed (to keep only the fat free of impurities) and concentrated to optimize the fat graft’s uptake in the predetermined consultation area. A small amount of fat is then reinjected above, below and inside the pectoral muscle to reshape it. The fat is introduced slowly to ensure that the muscle reaches the desired size and shape. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, ambulatory anesthesia or general anesthesia.

Post-operative follow-up: a slight edema may occur, lasting 1 week. Activity can resume immediately.

Results: Observed and ongoing from week 2. The torso has been redesigned for a completely natural and harmonious athletic look.

Hyaluronic acid injection technique: This is an alternative to surgery. The injection of hyaluronic acid allows to obtain natural but ephemeral results.
